A little about my wife and me

I was born in El Salvador and came to the U.S. in 1979. I came into this country with no knowledge of the English Language. I went to Los Angeles High School where I met excellent teachers that taught me the rules of the game. After High School I went to several City Colleges ELACC, LACC, Cal-State LA and finally I was able to transfer to UCLA, where I finished my BA in Spanish Literature. After graduating, I started teaching Spanish and Folklorico Dances at the High School level. I love teaching Spanish for Native Speakers. I currently live in Eagle Rock with my wife of 15 years of marriage, Monica. We met dancing at the UCLA Grupo Folklorico . Now she is a full time working mom with 3 lovely children: Eliana 11, Marisa 8, and Little "Oscar", 18 months old. She is now a Director at The Walt Disney Company in Burbank.

A little about my two daughters

This year Eliana started six grade and Marisa third grade, and both are doing very well in school. We are blessed with these two girls, and they keep our lives full of joy and happiness. As a father I am very proud of my two daughters. Just ask my students, and they could tell you that I always talk about them every day in class. They are getting ready for a trip to Europe this summer. They are going to London, Canterbury, and Paris for 15 days. Eliana is going to be singing with the Los Angeles Citywide Children's Christian Choir. We are asking for donations and this year we are very busy fundraising for the trip.

A little be about my son and my daughters

We are a soccer family. For the first time I coached my daughter, Eliana's team, The Storm, for under 12 girls division. We did very well this season for being the first time. Marisa' team became the champions from their under 10 division. Her trophy is bigger than her older sister's, which doesn't mean that she is the better player or the best player. Both did very well. Eliana is also playing during the winter season this year and she wants to be a goalie for her team next year. Marisa just loves to play the game for the fun of it. Little "O", well he likes to run and kick the ball. We can say that he is in training because he is going to be a great soccer player like his sisters.
