Land Plants

Early Land Plants

During the Cambrian period, the simple Ribone was carried on to the beach by the waves.  It was an endeavor for this plant to live in the land and expose directly to air. To be survived in the new environment, Ribone began to form roots to find water and other chemical needed from the water. This simple Ribone grew to be a well-adapted plant in the land around the Pence bay area, called Greenland. When Greenland appeared, a new era of land plant opened up for the new development of life cycles inland.

It appeared that Greenland grew to be a strong tree with dark green stem and round shape leaves about 2 to 5 cm. Photosynthesis took place in the green parts of the plant, mainly in the leaves.  Winds dispersed pieces of the Greenland even further inland and they continued to grow and developed in structure to attain greater levels and flourish in the new environments.

Plant Adapt and Life

Life on Spirit continued to evolve, and in the late Cambrian period, Greenland evolved and dominated the Spirit’s forests. Then million years after, the first flowering plants appeared. They evolved together with insects, birds, and mammals and rapidly dominating the landscape by the end of the Period. Plants have come a long way and have developed complex structures to assure the survival of future generations. Their life cycles are now composed of processes that give them advantages over plants from the past, and take a giant leap in plant diversity, not only in morphology, but also as far as cycles of life are concerned.

Coniferous Forests

After millions of years, the plants have evolved to the different kind of plants and adapted to different environment to create forests. Different kinds of forest have different ecosystems and the plant life of a coniferous forest is so interesting, The trees are used in various ways for the animals and have adapted well to the cold weather. These threes are found northern hemisphere region of Pence and Delfino continents. One of those kinds of three is Conplant that reproduce by dropping cones. These cones contain seeds that grow into new trees.

Conplant usually grows to about 30 meters in height but when soil conditions are good it grows to 50 meters with a trunk diameter of 1.5 meters. The Conplant looks beautiful at all times of the year. In early spring, it is covered with gentle green leaves. In summer, the light green navy crowns of Conplant trees that grows tall due to their absolutely straight trunks. They appear truly majestic. With the arrival of fall, Conplant trees remind you of torches that burn golden-yellow flame that gradually turns brown, as if fading. Even in winter, their branches full with numerous decorative small cones, Conplant trees look unusually ornamental.

Deciduous Forests

Deciduous forests consist of trees that do not bear cones. One of those trees is Deciplant, a hardwood tree that grows throughout the eastern part of north Pence that produce flowers, male and female. The flowers are attached on short stems and hang in baggy clusters. After fertilization, the flowers will be developed into a pair of seed that dropped on the nearby forest floor. The seeds are well adapted to growing on the forest floor. They grow powerful roots that can go through the leaf litter on the forest floor and develop into sprout.

Deciplant reaches heights of about 40 meters with a trunk about 1.5 meters across and the leaves are dark green. In the fall season, the leaves turn colorful shades of yellow, orange, and red. These trees tend to lose their leaves once each year when the weather turns cold. The leaves are usually wide and long, and the surface allows for maximum photosynthesis during the short growing season. Deciplant survive the winters in colder climates by shedding their leaves and becoming inactive until spring season.

Tropical Forests

With the rainfall averages around 1500mm and the temperature about 700F with 2 seasons, rainy and dry, the equator region of Spirit becomes the wonderful place for the tropical rain forest plants to grow, especially for the Troplant family. They are populating every corner of the equator of Spirit, living on trees, rocks, in the ground or under it, tropical rainforest or lush grassland, high mountain or bog, they thrived and flourished in capable of upsetting their evolutionary process.  Troplant flowers became the most one of the most successful and adaptable family of plants,

When it comes to reproduction Troplant are extremely adaptable, but individually selective and have tailored to use a variety of pollinators such as insects, birds, bats, small mammals, and winds; all contribute to their reproductive successes. They produce masses of tiny seeds, one single pod could contain as many as million seeds.
