Coordinate Water Animal

Populus with four different environments are home to a wide variety of aquatic animals.  It is estimated that 97% of all water in Populus is contained within the oceans.  Below is a description of the four "biomes" on the planet.  :

Shallow Tropical Oceans: The shallow waters of the oceans receive a lot of energy from Eris. Because of its depth, they stay warm a great part of the year. The waves bring out nutrients for animals and plants of Populus. Shallow waters are found in the continents of Durin and Gloen. These two continents are said to have natural environment for animals and plants.

Tropical Estuaries:  In Populus there are several rivers, many of which carry their waters to the oceans. At the place where the river merges with the oceans is called Tropical Estuaries. Animals and plants here learn how to survive in salt waters as well as in fresh waters. It is interesting how some animals have adopted the both waters. In some seasons, they travel up river and in some other season comes back to the salty waters of the oceans. This environment is most common in the tropical regions of Populus.

Rocky Tropical Shores: The rocky surface is very challenging for the animals and plants living in this environment. Usually there are fast currents or strong tides. The animals had to revolutionize their bodies to adapt to these conditions. They developed legs to avoid being drag to other places.  Plants had to grow organs called roots to hold themselves in place. The rocky surfaces also had warm waters.

Rocky Polar Shores:  The rocky polar shores are surfaces with extremely cold waters. So far this environment is the most dangerous and yet fertile. There live a great number of animals and plants. The living things have adapted tough conditions.
