Who said “You know something better if you get to know who made it.”? Well, to get to know the world of Eupledies, at least 1/3 wise, I’ll tell you more about myself, one of the three master minds. I grew up in the Philippines and came to Los Angeles right after college graduation. I landed a dream job (at least for me) in Children's Hospital Los Angeles working alongside the pioneers of HIV (Human Immunodeficiency virus) Pediatric Gene Therapy Research. After six years there, I was inspired to move on and teach science in the secondary school. I’ve been a teacher now to impossible middle school students for five years and I don’t regret a single minute of it, even though I barely have 15 minutes to chomp my lunch on most days.

As you can see in my photo, I love to show the fruits of my garden. Imagine, from a single pack of yellow bell peppers seeds bought at 99 cents store, I now have harvested about twenty golden and delicious bell peppers! These, with a little bit of dirt, water, and sunshine and lots of caring from my gardener :) I think recognizing the potential of all living beings is a wisdom we all need to grow on. A patch of land can bring a lot of fruits if one tills it and plants it. A young student’s mind is impressionable and as a teacher I have the responsibility and opportunity to impress upon it its unique dignity.
