I am one of the creators of planet Eupleides.  Along with my partners, Rhona Santini and Penelope Valdez, we have created Eupleides to share with you. These are the following pages that I have created.

About Me

I am currently an 8th grade science teacher at Monterey Highlands Elementary School in the Alhambra School District.  Along with teaching science, I also teach one reading class and one computer class.  This is my third year at Monterey Highlands.  I enjoy it much better than teaching high school.  I use to teach high school chemistry in San Diego and decided to try middle school science after I moved back to Los Angeles three years ago.  

I graduated from Occidental College with a Biochemistry degree in 1993.  Since then, I have worked as a lab technician, teacher, and science outreach coordinator.  I received my teaching credential from U.C.S.D. in 1997.  Currently,  I'm working on a dual Master's degree in Education at Cal State L.A.  One degree will focus on Curriculum and Instruction.  The other degree will emphasize Computer Education and Technology Leadership.   I hope to finish one degree by Spring 2003 and the other degree the following year.

Along with teaching and taking classes, I try to have a balanced life by doing many other things that I enjoy.  I enjoy rollerblading, playing tennis, hiking, gardening, reading, and spending time with friends and family.
