       Hello. My name is Alice Ward and I am one of the creators of planet AlThanAl.  Thank-you for visiting my home page.  I hope you enjoy reading about me as well as about my other group member.  Have fun exploring planet AlThanAl and we hope you enjoy your experience.

These are the pages that I made for our Planet AlThanAl:

     Let me tell you a little bit about my educational experience.  I am in the Master's Program at Cal State L.A. to get my Master's degree in Computer Education and Technology Leadership.  I have been going to Cal State L.A. for the past five years where I have earned my B.A. degree in History with the Multiple Subject Credential Option in 2000 and my Multiple Subject Credential in March of 2002.  Before going to Cal State L.A., I went to Glendale Community College where I earned my Associate in Arts degree in 1998.  World Builders EDIT 472 is the fifth class I have taken in the Master's program and therefore I hope to complete my Master's in the Fall of 2004.  I have enjoyed my classes and I hope to apply the knowledge that I have learned in my own classroom.

      As for work, I have been hired as a substitute teacher for a variety of different private schools as well as for Azusa, Duarte, and La Canada Unified School Districts.  I have enjoyed most of my substitute teaching assignments.  Being a substitute teacher has been a great experience and I am learning a lot about running a classroom.  I also hope that by next school year I will find a full-time teaching position and be able to apply my new experiences in my own classroom.

      Outside of my educational and work fields, my hobbies range from reading a variety of books to listening to different types of music.  I enjoy going for walks and exercising in order to keep in shape.  I am also a home body and therefore like to relax at home and be with my family.
