The flutterfish are the scavengers of Qui's oceans. Ranging primarily through the underwater forests of Stalk Discus, Qui's Flutterfish move through the water using a unique fin structure. This structure ripples along its length, propelling the Flutterfish as it searches for bits of food.
Being slow-moving, the Flutterfish have developed distinctive markings reminiscent of light filtering through water and plant stalks. These markings, combined with rippling fin motions and their gregarious schooling habits add up to visual confusion for the carnivorous eels, the main predator of Flutterfish.
