Chapter One - Qui Planetary System

The Qui Planetary System is named after the primary life-bearing planet in the system:Qui. Qui is somewhat larger than the Earth, with a radius 1.6 times that of Earth. Qui is a lush planet, with vast expanses of thick forest. Qui is accompanied in the heavens by Moon Sassicaia and Moon Feorn, as well as 4 other planetary bodies known simply as QPS1 - QPS4.

Of the five planets in the system, Qui, QPS3 and QPS4 are orbited by moons. The two largest planets, QPS2 and QPS3 are each surrounded by rings of ice and rock.

At the heart of the Qui Planetary System is a G0 class star known as Solar Engine Hurloon. This star is similar in many respects to the Earth's sun, and provides the energy for life on Qui. Being only 1.22 AU's from SEH, Qui receives somewhat more energy than the Earth receives from its sun. The life forms on Qui have adapted to this increased radiation in a number of ways.
