Corona began as gas swirling in space. As she was hurled by the forces of the universal farther and farther away from Luptar she became liquidfied. Eventually over several billions of years she became solid. Corona continued to swirl in space and began to cool four billion years ago. Her structure and consistancy are very similar to earth in many respects. Corona, however, is a little smaller than earth so her mass and gravity are somewhat less. Life began to develop on Corona about two billion years ago. Today, Corona is basically a tropical environment with about 80% of the planetary surface covered by water. Over time, life has developed from microscopic one cell animals to more complex life forms.

Lets compare the land masses of Corona to the land masses of earth. Rounding off the numbers a little, Yorel is about the same size as South America about 7,000,000 square miles. Kapei and Asia is approximately the same size with Asia being a little larger, about 17,600,000 square miles. Naim is about the same size as Africa. Africa is a little larger about 11,700,000 square miles. Yram and Anarctica are both about 5,500,000 square miles, but again, Anartica is also a little larger than Yram. Soleyi is approximately 13,500,000 square miles, and North America and Europe combined is roughly equavalent in size.
There are three oceans on Corona. They all run north and south to the poles. The Videlia Ocean borders Soleyi on the west. The Lehcar ocean borders Soleyi on its eastern shores and Kapei on its western shores. The third ocean, Bluaqua, borders Kapei on its eastern shores. The largest lake on Corona is Lake Ennovy. The two largest and longest rivers are Nadroj and Eam. The Nadroj is about 1400 miles long and up to a mile wide. The Nadroj river runs into the Eam's river just north of the equator. It is approximately 350 miles long and up to one half mile at its widest point. Corona has numerous smaller rivers, lakes, waterfalls, ponds, and brooks that are not shown on this map.
Corona's Ocean Current
The warm water moves north and south from the equator and cools as it flows toward the poles and vice versa. The prevailing winds create the surface ocean currents. The wind moves in a circular pattern over the ocean. These circular movements move both clockwise and counter clockwise. As the currents meet they produce very strong waves. The warmest water extend for a few miles both north and south of the equator as it receives the most direct sun light.
Corona's Wind Current
The warm wind
blows from the west away from the equator, and the cool wind blows toward
the equator. The atmosphere generally balance the heat distribution.
The air flows from the oceans and cools the surface of the land during
the day. Luptar warms Corona's land more quickly than the surrounding
water. As the warm air rises over the land, the cooler air from the
oceans rush in creating the ever pleasant sea breezes. The conditions
are reversed at night. During the night the land cools more rapidly
than the water. The cooler air over the land flows out over the comparatively
warmer ocean creating land breezes.
