The land plants for Krypto are very similar to the ones we have here on earth. Krypto's plant life begun many million of years ago through evolution, rain and sunlight. These plants grow in different shapes, sizes and colors and some of them need roots, stems and leaves to support themselves while they are embedded into the land surface. Also, some of the plants need their roofs to add extra water to their bodies for plant maintenance and photosynthesis to survive on this tropical planet. These land plants along with some of the grassy areas on Krypto provide the main food source for many of the land animals and insects found on this tropical warm weather planets each year for their survival. There are four basic land plants found on Krypto they are as following the Jones plant, Meater-eater plant, Day dream, and Wolley.
The Jones plant is very unique in its shapes and colors. Its leaves are light green with short stem that are embedded into different types of small flower pots about three feet (3') tall filled with soil from the land surface area. Jones eats small insects like bugs and worms to grow new leaves and stems each year. For example, Jones is like some of the plants found on earth but it needs a lot of sunlight and rain water from this planet's tropical weather climate to survive each year. The meat-eating plant called the Meater-eater is one of the deadliest plant on Krypto. This plant ranges in different sizes (5 to 8 feet tall), depending on the temperature of that area (The warmer the area the bigger the plant, the cooler the area the smaller the plant). The meater-eater eats only meat, and it catches its prey with its long vines. Its vines are in the ground and they can grow to 15 feet long, to catch its prey far away from its mouth. Once caught in its vines, it's impossible to get out. They only need to eat once a month to survive. The plant reproduces by sending its seeds through it's vines. Most of the times their seeds get eaten by birds and rodents, so there are not many seeds around. This plant likes to live in very moist and hot areas, if not then survival is short. They also need sunlight to survive because they get the liquid from their prey. They can live from 10 to 20 years, and average years is up to about 7. The Daydream plant is one very unique plant on Krypto, because of its long green leaves are used as a protective shelter for bugs, ants, and other small insects during long rainy days. The Daydream plant grows along the land and up to six to ten feet in height with long brown stems that are embedded into the ground surface. Also, the dream plant uses it roots to capture small earth worms and ants to survive on Krypto's 10% land area. The Daydream plant can only survive in a tropical climate atmosphere where the weather is always hot and rainy. This is because the Daydream plant cannot survive under cold weather conditions were there is freezing snow and cold rain.

Wolley is the name of this colorful plant found on Krypto. Its radiant colors attract many animals to come and eat it. Animals need this plant for fiber, which it contains in abundance. The plant takes about one week to grow, and about a day to die, after complete blossom. It reproduction is asexual and it does it by having the air blow its pollen. Animals who are weak or dying, by instinct, look for this "miracle plant". (Land plant created by Eduardo)
