Diskphyte

This is a velvety shaped plant that carpets narrow ledges. Favorite locations are moist cliffs and shady stream banks where mosses also grow. Diskphyte is an attractive plant that anchors itself by means of tiny, rootlike rhizoids. Spores are produced in each stalk. In time, the spores are liberated and carried away by winds. If they land in a suitable area, growth will occur.
