Jackelfish

These are common fish which feed on Strobeplankers. This is a warm water fish with extremely colorful fins. Jackelfish can be found in depths down to 3000 feet. They are extremely fast with an average speed of 30mph. Due to it's colorful fins, this fish is able to blend in with the environment. Kelp forests are their usual habitat. The diet of a Jackelfish also includes sea grass and Discophyte. Mating season begins in the summer where sexual reproduction occurs. The Jackelfish can grow anywhere from 15 to 35 ft long.
