Greetings Earth brothers and sisters, and welcome to our home planet! Coyote and the Brulian Solar System are fictitious places. They are the creative products of four graduate students in the School of Education at California State University Los Angeles. The course which we are enrolled in is called "World Builders," and our instructor is Dr. Elisabeth Viau. This course requires us to construct an entire solar system in one quarter (about three months). More precisely, our assignment is to use resources from scientists, informational disks, and the World Wide Web to construct a web site for our solar system and home planet.
While this assignment has seemed Herculean at times, we have all learned a great deal during this quarter. We have learned much about the construction of web pages, and we have learned to present scientific data in a concise and consistent manner. Moreover, we have learned a great deal about our own strengths and limitations, and how much we have to learn from each other. In constructing this site, it is our hope that we will inspire many others to create and explore new worlds as well.
We bid you pleasant journeys on your explorations of Coyote and the Brulian System.
Sincerely,
Sally,
