Hello! Welcome to my Web Page and thank you for stopping by
for a visit to get to know me!
I live in Temple City, California, which is near Pasadena. I am
married, but the only "children" I have right now are
three adorable cats. My husband's name is Bill and my cats' names
are Jasmine, Sabrina, and Roo. I am a Fourth Grade Teacher at
San Gabriel Christian School located in the San Gabriel Valley.
As I grew up I lived in various cities due to the fact that
my father was a pastor and had to move from time to time. I began
my life in San Gabriel Hospital on November 9th. Our family lived
in the Los Angeles area until we moved in the spring of first
grade. We moved to a small town in northern California called
Corning. In sixth grade we moved again, but to a much more populated
area. The town was Elk Grove, a suburb of our state capitol Sacramento.
Upon graduating High School, I packed my bags and headed south
to San Diego where I attended Point Loma Nazarene University.
It was there that I met my husband to be. Once we graduated we
moved to the San Gabriel Valley, which is where we are now.
I enjoy variety so I have many interests. I love to sing and
am a part of a choir called the Gary Bonner Sinngers. We
practice each week and sing at various churches throughout southern
California. Since I preferred to be outdoors playing as a child,
I didn't read unless I had to. Because of this, I now lenjoy reading
children's classic books as well as historical and realistic fiction.
Other interests I have are ballet, jazz dance and tap, watching
movies, ice skating, helping out as an adult sponsor for my church
youth group and learning about computers. My interest in computers
has led me to take classes to earn a Master's Degree in Instructional
Technology in Education at California State University Los
Angeles.
There are many things that are important to me, the most being
my relationship with the Lord Jesus Christ. He is my Savior and
ever present guide and friend. I want a life that honors Him for
without Him, my life would be meaningless. My husband and family
are next, with my friends following close behind. My students
are also extremely important to me because of my desire for them
to become the men and women God has called them to be.
