LAND PLANTS
|
The water plants of Chranara moved onto land over many centuries. Roots began to grow and seeds spread plants inland. Many beautiful varieties of plants evolved from the Hollifer and AmyLily. One biome found on the planet exists in the valleys and plains off coastal Chranara. Temperatures are mild and rainfall is moderate. Winds are sometimes harsh, but plants have developed strongholds in these areas and have adapted well. Further inland, we find the mountain biome. Winter temperatures drop to below freezing and plants have adapted to colder conditions. Deeper roots formed to hold water during dry spells and trees have adjusted to the mountain conditions.
