Hello! Welcome to my web page. My name is Edwin and I am a 4th grade teacher at Tenth Street Elementary School in the Los Angeles Unified School District (LAUSD). I have taught in this district for the past nine years. I was born in El Salvador, but have called Los Angeles my home since I was nine years old. I attended public schools in LAUSD and attended Cal. State LA (CSULA) where I obtained a BA in Criminal Justice.

In order to earn money to pay for my studies, I worked as a Paraprofessional at an elementary school. I found that I really enjoyed working with children very much. This got me interested in teaching. Soon after I graduated, I began taking courses to become a teacher. I am now enrolled in a Master of Arts Degree in Education with both an Option in Computer Education and Technology Leadership and an option in New Media Design and Production. When I want to relax, I like to head for the outdoors where I enjoy fishing, hunting, SCUBA, paintball, snowboaring, camping, and boating.
