Give Your Planet Files an ID

Give Your Planet Files an ID

Naming your files this way will help to keep them from being uploaded to the wrong folder!

Note:
In a class like World Builders, files can get lost.
Please use the initial of your planet as the first letter of each file.
You may use your own initial next if you wish.

Example:

    Your name is Judy.
    Your planet is called Miranda.

The name of your personal home page

The name of a picture of you

               Another picture of you

               Your Table of Contents page

               Water Animals Page

=  M_JUDY.HTM

 = M_JUDYPIC.JPG

 = M_JUDYPIC_2.JPG

 = MJ_TOFC.HTM

 = MJ_WA.HTM

Notice that I used an underscore like_this when I wanted to separate the ID from the FILE TOPIC.

Note: I am using all capitals for the file names because they seem to transfer more easily between between Macs and Windows machines.

If all the world builders in your group have either Windows machines or Macs, you may use either all capitals or all lower case letters for your file names, but DO NOT MIX THEM!!!!!

  Another Example:

         Your name is Ricardo.
         Your planet is called Xzam.

The name of your personal homepage

The name of a picture of you

           Another picture of you

          Your Table of Contents page

           Water Animals Page

 = X_RIC.HTM

 = XR_PHOTO1.JPG

 = XR_PHOTO_2.JPG

 = XR_TOFC.HTM

 =  XR_WA.HTM

Notice that I used an underscore like_this when I wanted to separate the ID from the FILE TOPIC
