Evergreen
and Deciduous Plants
How
Land Plants Deal with the Seasons
When
plants live in the ocean, the
temperature of the water is fairly
constant. The plants do not have to
adjust to large temperature changes.
However, when plants live on land, they
have to adapt to a wide range of
temperatures, both during the day and
over the course of a year.
