Use Foil Stars to Show What Genes Do!
Your Task: Predict what the offspring will be like in a cross of two organisms.
Just for fun, let's use the stars to represent genes.Directions:
Choose the symbols to represent the genes. Fill in the stars at the top marked Dominant and Recessive. They should be different colors.
Now pick a characteristic such as Tall / not tall or Yellow / not yellow
Fill in the appearance of the parent row. Fill in the genes that they could carry.
Now figure out what the children will be like. Have fun!
