Use Foil Stars to Show What Genes
Do!
| Your Task: |
Predict what the offspring will be like in a
cross of two organisms. |
| Directions: |
Choose symbols to represent the genes. Fill in
the stars at the top marked Dominant and Recessive.
They should be differently colored stars.
Pick characteristics such as Tall / not tall or
Red / not red.
Fill in the appearance of the parent row and the genes that they
carry.
Now figure out what the children will be like. Have
fun! |
